What about 'Guinness book of records' £ 9.99 , got this as stocking filler for dd for xmas ( she's 10 ) had a little peek through before i wrapped and loads of interesting stuff !

Hi Marina :), just thought something different than the usual ( games ,lego etc ) and also a nice price ( although shame you never asked a few days ago as there was a printable voucher to get £5 off this at whsmiths , but ended on the 7th :( ) but still think its worth £9.99 especially for the age group we are talking about as they are so hard to buy for and also knowing what they are into and what they have ( or DONT HAVE !!!, nowadays , lol ) good luck anyway hun x ;)

my 9 year old plays it all be it with the volume down due to the language (his choice) but i really don't see the big fuss.

when i was his age i was watching films like Rambo, Commando, Predator etc etc as all my friends did...........don't see what the big hoo ha is IMO.
