I ordered the Fresco Bloom Highchair from John Lewis, it retails around £270 bit was advertised for £100. I bought it and got the email confirming i'd bought the fresco bloom. However, when it was delivered, i had actually recieved the Nano Bloom. which retails £100 and is nasty. John Lewis have said that they can either take it back and refund me the £100 or i can keep the nano for £75.
I want the fresco Bloom for the £100 i payed. doi have anything over them or not really, can they say no after confirming and delivering the wrong product. They do have the item in stock but at a higher price.
Thing is i posted this deal on HUKD and everyone else has had the same problem. I have called them and they said leave it with them, but also was mailing them and last night i got a reply (from a woman in samples sales??) saying the first offer was the final offer. I have been told i can use the nano...but its designed for kids 6months plus and my 3 month old is all wobbly and unstable in the nano. I mentioned that in the email, that i'd specifically ordered the bloom as it was better for babies.
I am going to call them today but just wanted some tips/advice on where i do really stand. is it pointless.
