Bit of help with my new mobile, please?

Hi all - in short:

1) I am sure I read somewhere that Vodafone will unlock my phone for free, is that right? How?
2) Can anyone recommend a good case for it?
3) What memory card do I need for it - any good deals around?

Sorry, just wanted to fit all my questions into the first few lines!

It is a Sony Ericsson K770i, I need to get it unlocked and DEFINITELY need a case for it before its first outing - looking for something that looks quite nice and am not keen on the cases you have to take the phone out of. I really like the look of those 'crystal' (see-through plastic) cases but the one I bought for my K750 never fit properly and kept falling off, or I was looking at the 'Krussell' ones on eBay? Can anyone recommend, please?

Also, would like a memory card as my old phone used to get full up quickly, but not sure which one to look for and was hopng someone might have seen a good deal around.

Thanks guise, will leave rep for help!

Hi, This Sony-ericsson mobile phone uses a MS Micro M2 memory card. you can get them from here http://www.shop.bt.com/productview.aspx?quicklinx=4DKH but most phone shops sell them also, as for a case this is one example http://www.amazon.co.uk/Ericsson-K770i-Classic-Multidapt-Black/dp/B000ZBG0SAalthough there are alot out there but its more down to personal preference, as for vodafone unlocking for free I am not sure but hopefully some one will be able to help you out with that, hope this helps thanks

Thanks

Is it an M2 card I nedd, then - is that the name of it?

May I ask what phone you have? I maybe read somewhere that only up to 2gb will probably work? :?

EDIT: I can see them for sale on Ebay, so assume that 4gb will be ok - will go for that one, thanks again!

Tried getting through to them last night but gave up after holding for 10 minutes.

The K770i I bought is just a Voda PAYG so I don't expect they will help me - was hoping someone here would be able to tell me if they will before I pay more money trying to speak to them

Contract phones are Free usually only after a certain period though. Pay as you go phones are £15...

You might as well take it to a shop though £10-£15 you should be able to get it unlocked and debranded at the same time. Most of these are CID53 so dont mess up your phone trying free software...

M2 Cards are cheap on Play.com

The crystal cases for these are quite good, however they do normally crack if your not carefull with them, however at least thats not your phone being damaged :)
