Its going up in price...

But the reason for the dislike is the fact they ignore cancellations and carry on taking money regardless.

3 is still far worse of these 2 though.

How much is it going up to? Any links to this?

dont understand how a company can carry on taking payments after you've cancelled any direct debits to them with your bank.

also they only deal in sports so there cant be that many people subscribed with them not as many that have been scammed by paypal in 1 way or another

Read it on here. £10 sub was going up to £15

Luckily I dont need to pay anything for Setanta. (And no I dont have Virgin or BT Vision) Even get Setanta Ireland! :w00t:

I agree with the last bit!

But services on CC are reliant on the service provider.

It's not the amount that should be taken into consideration, it's the percentage.

If Sentanta had 1m users and 500k angry customers, that's 50% angry-ness factor (excuse the highly complex stats!!!)

If 3 had 2m users and 600k angry customers, although more angry customers are present, the percentage is only at 30% which makes it a better company overall.

Therefore these votes are flawed from the start... not to mention that we have to assume that not many people will have heard of the poll and therefore a fair representation wouldn't have been heard.

Ah well. eBay sucks and as eBay have Paypal, Paypal also suck.

Don't have any issues with either of them but Sky ****** me off recently.

I phoned to order another multiroom card and after ten minutes and multiple automated menus I got through to a person, who transferred me to another person who then proceeded to hang up.

They aren't hanging up, the system just enjoys getting the customer angry so when they finally get through to me they're really annoyed

Quidco's customer service is fantastic but the companies that sign up can be a right load of *****.

HMV tracks at zero for 90% of purchases (two on the same day one tracks correctly the other not at all) all the way through to 'you have received £0.00 from HMV'.

Nokia meanwhile took my money promising 30% cashback then put a placeholder of £0 until the regular 5% they offer came back then proceeded to track at 5% rather than 30%. Quidco have put the £62 difference in as a dispute but it is still pending and I don't see them giving me the money.

Tongue was firmly in cheek I assure you

I just got £25 of them this morning :-D

Virgin Media have never really given me any problems since they took over my TeleWest account, but never really had any major issues anyway

Three - I have four accounts with Three and yes their telephone CS can be hit and miss but if you go to the online support chat it works well and is also documented

Setanta - never had to deal with them because I get it as part of VM TV

But PayPal - they should get the award - law until themselves and not really covered by UK law as tney are based in Luxemburg. My experince with PayPal is taht is you are an honest law abiding customer you will loose nad if you are scamming s**m and knopw all the dodges you will win - nuff said

funny thing with both 3 and setanta, they both had call centres in the same call centre in liverpool, i used to work for setanta, and left because i hated not being able to do anything to help the customers, and 3, well they have been a big pile of tripe from the begining.
