can anyone explain how to play black jack? I can't remember & I'm trying to teach my son some card games. we've done rummy, chase the ace and pontoon

yep same thing... cant go wrong with snap and go fish hehe or how bout spades or poker :p

or for single player solitaire

1 = 1
2 = 2
3 = 3
4 = 4
5 = 5
6 = 6
7 = 7
8 = 8
9 = 9
10 = 10
Jack = 10
Queen = 10
King = 10
Ace = 1 or 10 (U choose)

U get 2 cards each (some play so that everyone sees each others first card)... the idea is you want to make 21. If u have 18 in total so maybe a Queen and an 8. U probably want to stick as u are close to 21. If u only have a 4 and a 3 then u say hit and get another card.

Basically u wanna get 21... (If u get 21 or under in 5 cards u automatically win)

Needless to say, highest wins... bust is out and Ace and a Ten, Jack, Queen or King is 21 (Blackjack)

In the event someone has 21 in three cards and someone has it in two... the lower amount of cards always win in a tie (unless 5 cards... 5 card trick)

1000% less cards... unless they have a 5 card trick... which beats even a blackjack

No 5 card tricks in Blackjack.

No buying up the bet, you can split a pair but that is all. Otherwise the same principle as 21/ Pontoon.
