I've got the new bold, my sis has got the 8900 and to be honest there is not that much of a difference for browsing the web on both devices, but that maybe because we are both on o2 and can get EDGE as well as GPRS. Talking about a couple of seconds difference or so compared to 3G.

Both of us are running hybrid firmwares which utilise much faster browsing which is a big improvement over the official firmware. Blackberry compresses the data very well so that helps as well.

Thanks, I hadn't heard of EDGE until you mentioned it, I'll have to find out if I can get it in my area.
