Right i have a BB 8520, i've got the blackberry internet service(500mb browsing & free email access) too from orange..

Is there any good 3g blackberrys out there? The internet on this is amazingly slow!

Would it matter if i was to switch from a 2g to 3g, would it affect my internet package? (would i have to pay?)

Thanks

Best 3g Blackberry at the moment is the '9700 (Bold 2)'... It would not affect your data allowance as would use the same amount as the 8520!

Bold 9700 definately, i bought the 8520 two weeks ago.

Upgraded to the bold 9700 a week later (free upgrade from vodafone which i wasnt expecting)

internet is amazingly fast compared to it.

It really is, I think they use different OS's too

(8520 - 4.x)
(9700 - 5.0)

it's a lot more user friendly text-bbm wise

I would probably say you'd need slightly more than £100 on top of your phone price ;-)

I agree!

The 8520's go for between £110 - £150 on eBay, for the Bold 9700 you'll be looking between £300 - £350 .
