Nice. what model? 8900? What made you buy it? Did you consider other blackberries?

Avoid the storm...awful phone. I had it when i upgraded and sent it back 2 days later! You have to physically press to click the screen....not touchscreen at all. There is also a gap round the edge of the screen that will collect dust nicely! Didn't find it easy to use.

i have had 3 blackberries. the pearl 8120, 8900 and now using the 9000 bold.

i would recomend the 8900 curve as it is a decent size, has GPS. the BOLD is better but is abit bigger. the reason im using it instead of the 8900 is because the keypad is bigger and als it has 3G so internet is much faster.

AVOID the Storm

I have the White Curve 8520 - love it too !

P.S. Had the Bold 2 (9700) before this, but it started to fall apart after 4weeks - the silver strips between the keys started to snap and fall out! I would avoid as there is a bad batch of them (so I have been told as its a common problem!). The keys are also abit awkward to type with!

Bit of a stupid comment really, he asked what blackberry to get, not any other phone.

OP, just fwi the new range of blackberries are coming out in the not too distant future, they look great plus they have blackberry os 6.0 so they will be even better than now. Personally I think that the upcoming bold 9800 looks great, has a qwerty keyboard and a touchscreen (which should be better than the storms as os 6.0 is based on the touchscreen more.

My dad has the bold 9000 and he loves it, I couldn't get used to the stylings personally as it's a big chunk of a phone and to corporate for my liking.

Cool, thanks to everyone for the advice. I am torn between the bold and the curve, will see what I can get on O2 which looks the best. Or might wait for the new phones (thanks Lost Symphonies :)), but don't want to wait forever.

Rep left for the helpers!
