well you know the 25p meals. well i ordered them online and well they didnt charge me 25p with those and the rice at a penny i have been overcharged on my chopping bill by 55 pound.

i am fuming. i still have my orginal order on asda online. that shows i ordered it at 25p.

but they charged me 2.50 each.

i have rung the call centre which is in south africa or something. that were less than helpful i just said they honour the price or come and pick it up. i am not paying that much extra.

now they are going to automatically charge my card 55 pound extra.

what can i do, does anyone have a receipt from in store that i can show them to prove it was that price instore.

I thought you checked the prices and quantity at time of delivery? Has that practice changed now?
#3
i received nothing and you think that increasing a price by like a 1000 percent they will tell me.

im not sure but thought all supermarkets only ever gave a rough estimate and you got billed for the price going through the till on the day of delivery, you should always do a quick scan of receipt before you take your shopping and hand over anything your not happy with
#5
the driver told me to take it and ring them up. i know i have to wait untill tomoz for someone to ring me back but they know what i stand i will send them back.
#6
sass there is a rough estimate and more than double the price.

Nail on head
It states that you must make sure that the offer is still valid on day of delivery.

it wasnt an offer, it was the price. they increased it by 10.

and if they state that then they can come back and pick it up. no skin from me.

just to stop myself sounding even more like a spoilt child lol they did say on phone if they cant sort it i can return them for a refund.

btu would they really resell them, wouldnt they be better honouring the price.

If they take them back they'll go straight in the skip. Same as if they send something you didn't order, goes straight in the skip. What a wasteful company eh?

it does not make you look like a spoilt child its the principle of the thing

i wanted to hand my items that were incorrect back to the driver but he told me to take it up with the customer sevrices-they basically said tough! havent ordered from tesco since as dont like being made a fool of..
#13
you pay the price that the item is on the day, you can refuse it on delivery and it would of been refunded, any issues ive had with Asda have been dealt with quite quickly
#14
I never call the call centre any more I call the store who did the delivery and speak to the home shopping team ,it gets sorted more quickly.
#15
thank you all. it is principle. i wont be shopping there again at this rate.

the home sshopping woman is ringing me tomorrow
