They didnt care and just told me if it was a real fire I'd be dead and not to smile at the fact I didnt leave my room(I was feeling crap and thought it was a flatmate playing a joke lol)

I'd complain, 5.30 is an unreasonable time. Our uni test the fire alarms at 10am every Monday morning every week.

Whats's the point of a fire drill if you know exactly when it will be?

i remember when i was in uni we had a similar thing. After a particularly over zealous pranking one night during RAG week, we got woken up by a fire alarm the following night at around 4am to give our halls, and our rival halls a wrist slapping saying that some of the pranks verged on criminal damage... oops!

Yeah, thats not so much a fire "drill" as a fire alarm "test". We have those at work. Every monday at 11am is a test but then every so often we get a drill. Usually during my lunch break! GRRR!

No my flatmates were partying so I couldnt sleep I was in my room sitting down whilst they had a leaving party for a girl whos moving today.

I can never sleep if they are drinking as they either play the music as loud as it can get and leave their doors open or do silly things like chuck flour around the halls and make flour footprints
