if you cant get to dentist go to tesco/asda pharmacy and ask for anbusol its adult strength teeth gel with local anaesthectic , my mum needed dental treatment for an abcess and impacted crown i think she said but couldnt afford to pay for emergency , was only thing that gave her any relief whilst she waited 5 days for an appointment and she was in agony but couldnt afford the emergency prices on top of the actual dental work

how much extra would it cost?also i wouldnt want them to take the tooth out, would they try and save the tooth?

Yeah I had 1 do that, cos I HATE dentists cuz I'm sure when I was a kid he used to also work at Dewhursts :whistling:

Also see if you can get some stuff called Ora Jel, its fab stuff and it numbs it very similar to a dentists injection, failing that whisky is awesome stuff rubbed on the pain, numbs very well.

I even used my daughters teething gel out of desperation, it worked for about 30 seconds lol
#15
Yeah boots, ask for Ora Jel Extra Strength, get Whisky for tonight lol

Aww, I really feel for you - toothache is a horrendous pain. I had problems with one of mine about a year ago (ended up having to have it removed). You'll probably end up having to see a dentist as even if it dissapears for a while, chances are it will return at a later date. I used Solphadine Max tablets for mine (available at the pharmacy) - pretty strong stuff but did the job. I hope you get it sorted :)
#17
If the pain is very bad then call NHS direct, you may be able to see a dentist at your local hospital, or they will tell you the local emergency dentist. Hope this helps

im going to try and last over night then head to boots in the morning

Go to your local A and E they usually have an on call emergancy dentist. The tooth will probably end up being pulled but at least the pain will stop.

Thats an absimal amount of time to have to wait. I'd be complaining.... Why couldn't they do it there and then??
