Ordered take away at 7.15 and they said it would arrive at 7.55(which is fine as its about 3-5 minutes walk from the house so wouldnt take long to cook!) I went downstairs at 7.50 just in case as theres no buzzer and the last time we ordered from there the guy went to the new builds down the road(since theres no other flats in the street)

At 8:15 went upstairs and as I was ringing the take away the delivery driver rang and said he was outside! As always happens he must of pulled up as I went back upstairs.

I am just a bit peeved off as the take away never bothered ringing me to say it would be late, and to take a hour to do a basic delivery(Hogie which is a kebab with chips and cheese on top for my friend) and a curry with fried rice and poppadoms for another friend and mushroom pakora doesnt take just under a hour to cook on a quiet sunday and to drive to!

To top it off there was no chilli sauce with kebab and the fried rice was pilau!

I was expecting someone to say that and normally I do and didnt want to go there anyway but had a voucher code that covered delivery and a bit more and couldnt be used for collection.

It's beyond me why you couldn't be bothered to walk there if it's only 3/5 minutes away! Seriously, I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't just leave you until the end of the delivery on the way back to the shop just for your pure laziness!

I dont normally go to that one, theres one a few doors down that I prefer not just because its cheaper but more my quality of food and not as rich in flavour as this one(and a HECK of a lot cheaper)

Just this was the only online one.

I would of rather just walked to the place and collected it but since we had to pay for delivery I expected delivery and when I had friends round it would of meant all 3 of us going up there.

Lol no, just that as its so close it should get here quicker as its not as if its a long drive away, its actually quicker to walk it because of the one way road and the fact of getting into the car and parking and back out.

I think last time I ordered for myself the food arrived on a busy Saturday night 25 minutes after ordered and the guy walked to my door!

This is only second time I have ordered and likely last time.

No never been more than 18 stone, currently am 16 and a half and was about 15 and a half 2 months ago but havent been to gym since I moved since no local ones.

Anyway like I say I would of actually walked there, or far preffered to go to another cheaper and better place but I had a money off voucher and theres only 2 local places that are available to order from online and both are Indian take aways, I love mushroom pakora so got that and knew that alone would be far too much, and besides had slow cooked some chicken and chillies anyway and knew if I was hungry later could use the leftover curry sauce to go with my chicken or eat it tommorow as a main meal.

You should have taken a walk down there and complained, mind you that's a bit further away than the computer I guess oO

Well I would of but thought that pointless and was being fair I want going to go crazy after just an hour it was just they promised one time and didnt do it and for a small order a tiny distance from the shop it shouldnt have taken that long to arrive.

I am fair when it comes to complaining about deliveries and know sometimes a place can be busy but dislike it when a time is promised then its 20 minutes later than promised, I would rather be told it will take over a hour to arrive as they are busy then if it came earlier it was a bonus than being told it would take like 40 minutes to come then waiting for it patiently.

I did think a few times that I should just go in and pick it up but didnt want to miss driver and thats why I came back upstairs, to ask where it was and if they were busy to collect it.

I am not lazy for this sort of thing, considering I would rather walk 25 minutes to the big supermarket to get cheap stuff even late at night rather than the 24 hour Spar which is expensive lol.

ok ryouga, i think this thread will annoy people though because alot of us have given you diet tips before and you recently made a thread something like,

"ive been gyming for a week and havent lost weight"

and now your telling us that your having takeaways most of the time.....hence why you have put on a stone in 2 months.

Well having no takeaways at all for 3 weeks then having 1 one week and 2 another week is hardly all the time lol.

Most of the time I eat little anyway this was just a housewarming thing since my friends came from Glasgow to see me as it was their night off and have seen them once since last summer and we were all bored.

You must be able to see why people can't take it seriously though? You say you don't eat much, but you don't put a stone from not eating much unless you're eating nothing but unhealthy food.

True but I think its when I do eat I eat a lot in one go, as in I can starve till the late evening then eat a lot.

Today I ate a single small chicken burger in a burger bun for lunch. for tea had 2 plain croissants then the pakora(which I havent even eaten yet!)

Yesterday I was basically eating macaroni cheese(though had a whole pack of Cheesy Pasta) and about 6 slices of bread with cheese spread on 2 of them.

Day before I ate home made meatballs with oven chips and had 3 hot cross buns.

There is probably a few things I dont remember but I dont eat much in one sense though what I eat is starchy and processed.

Also when I do stuff like make chicken in stock I use 2 smallish chicken breasts and sometimes when hungry about 4 or 5 custard cremes.

The internet used to be a beautiful place, full of 40% interesting information and 60% porn. Nowadays it is a proven fact than 97% of the entire internet content is Ryouga in one of his various guises talking about his weight, his latest takeaway, his bowel movements, his chest pains and his latest unfathomably unlucky experience with his landlord/flatmates/electricty company/BT etc etc. Sad but true.

the above stuff might be why people are hating on you when you ask about losing weight
