This should be merged with the football thread. Why start another topic ?

Because no one cares about manchester united.

We care more about our national team.

As far as im concerned that is for the football league.

What everyones worried about is the european qualifiers.

Speak for yourself :p
I'd be more worried were Cannavaro to get injured :-(

Oh well at least Owen will be fit :whistling:

sorry forgot hes past his prime

Crouch all arms and legs.
Defoe lacks football always on the bench.
Bent a waste of 16.8 million.
Smith does not score enough.
oh well I say bring back Heskey!!!

I'm afraid I think you are in the minority now!

I am a Liverpool fan, but the only thing I worry about when I watch Eng-er-land nowadays is making sure Stevie G doesn't pick up an injury.

Same goes for United fans I am sure.

Can't explain when I fell out of love with the National Team TBH, loved Euro '96, France '98 and Euro 2004, but last years World Cup didn't float my boat, and when they appointed Steve 'Yes Man' McLaren, that was the final nail in the coffin for me!

Dont agree.

All you have to do is look around when a major tournament is on. Also, look at the TV viewing figures. The World Cup game against Trinidad on a weekday afternoon got almost twice as many viewers as the Champions League Final which featured LIverpool and was on in the evening.
