Bluecoot.com legit? - (I ordered a PSP Go from them, it has arrived, they are legitimat)

Hi, I'm thinking of ordering a PSP Go from Bluecoot.com, but was hoping that somebody has had previous experience of them as I can't find much having searched on Google. They've been around since 2009 according to the website.

Also if I pay via PayPal through them and they turn out to be scammers will I get my money back?

Yeah, that's what puts me off, but I should be covered via PayPal surely? I've just looked through all of PayPals T&C's and by all accounts I should be covered should something not turn up.

When I searched in Google there is evidence of one person having received a PSP Go before.

Oh there is a telephone number and address in the about section!

its just not in contact us lol.

Thanks for bringing them to my attention. They have got some really good prices on their site.

hi guys. at first i thought this was a scammer site. but i found the contact number and checked out the address and it seems to be legit. i ordered a wii, psp go and a samsung tv. i also checked their hard drive prices and they r pretty cheap. even their lcd tvs, although havent heard much about aoc or digimate or dgm. but i googled AOC and they have some pretty nice stuff. i guess its on par with the other brands, just cheap and less heard of, but they do the same thing. 1080p. i think i'll b buying a lot more more from these guys. my goods arrived the next day so as legit as any online store. spread the word. they r cheapest on PSP go!! get it while they have stock,

I'm guessing you are an employee of bluecoot.com Jamie Rubio? lol, one post and you are trying to get us to spread the word!

D'oh.

Ok, so I ordered the PSP Go from them. It was only £154.99, I'll report back as to whether they are scammers or not, as it should be arriving tomorrow because you get free enxt day delivery.

If they are legitimate I have no problems posting the PSP deal and promoting bluecoot.com as they do have the best price for the PSP Go and for a couple of other things too, it's just hilarious when there is a clear attempt from an employee posing as a satisfied customer to promote the site :)

I phoned them up yesterday to check that my order had gone through, the friendly chap on the other end said it had and that I would receive it today, I haven't received any sort of 'your order has been shipped' email though. They might just not do them, but anyway, I'll find out this morning hopefully whether they will deliver :)

It arrived :) All good!

I'm sure you don't need reminding, Josh, but for anybody else's benefit;

You've got a month to register/use a PlayStation Network account on the unit & download the ten free titles:

Ten free games offer for PSP Go console

Happy new gadget! :)

LMFAO @ the people running bluecoot trying to drum up business before they run off with all the money.

How have they tried to drum up the business?

Josh

By the looks of it (On the domain registration) there is just one guy running the business. - Yes I did check them out before making a purchase.

anything to back that up or just talking ****?

Do you mean that they have sent me a PSP in order that I promote them by posting the deal on here? - If so, I don't think that's the case, as other people have received their consoles. If you have a look at the link to moneysavingexpert further up in the thread, a few others have had their orders completed.

People seem to be really untrusting these days. I'm guessing they are a reasonably new company as my order number was #186, so they clearly can't have been trading for that long.

Josh
#22
If your "friends" at Bluecoot.com wish to send me a PSPgo to promote them too, Josh, I would offer a favourable review.

...and you're leaving for a "holiday" tomorrow. Not suspicious in the slightest! :)

Seriously, though, have a great time, & don't forget to send a postcard.

BFN,

fp.
#23
Haha, yes true. How do you think I'm managing to afford the 'holiday' in this age of austerity!

I have to say I'm looking forward to having a break from work, it's been a while and I just need to chill out for a bit. If I hadn't just cleared all my old emails I could well have sent a postcard to your P.O Box, but as it is, a PM may have to suffice ;)

So is bluecoot ok to use? Noticed the deals r3tract posted (the psp and wii) were deleted.
#25
They were deleted because they couldn't get enough information on bluecoot, apparently the domain registrant details weren't sufficient.

Josh
#26
Obviously I've had no problems with them, give them a call, their phone number is on their 'About us' page.

Plus I think PayPal should cover it should anything happen.

To be fair a little digging would put me off
For a start the domain seems to be registered to an individual which isn't allowed on here
Their address also seems to be used by AMORE WEDDINGS & EVENTS LTD, and is also different to the domain registration details. Then you have someone blatently pretending to be a customer posting on this thread.

shopto also have an organisation name and are a limited company. Bluecoot don't. shopto's address doesn't seem to be used by anyone else, The reg details for shopto correspond with the details on the website and i've never seen anyone from shopto pretend to be a customer. Whats your point?

ShopTo's Registered Company Address is at their accountants in London (not where they trade from). Nothing odd there; many Private Limited Companies are registered at the address of their accountants or elsewhere.

The Registered Company Number as displayed on their web site is 04468861.

This is Skream Limited (incorporated on 25 June 2002) & the nature of their business is recorded as "7260 - Other computer related activities" (presumably "computer games").

ConspiracyGames.co.uk (Conspiracy Entertainment Europe Limited) also quote the same address as ShopTo's trading address (Unit 14), but the WhoIs domain name record for the Conspiracy.co.uk domain states Unit 2 of The Western Centre.

The Registered Company Address of Conspiracy Entertainment Europe Limited is also the same address in London where ShopTo is registered. They may share the same accountants; they may be owned by the same individual(s). They may be dormant Companies set-up in case the Director of one Company is banned from becoming a Director of any other Company due to trading history & has one or more lined-up to switch operations to. Speculation on my part, but stick with me...

The actual Registered Company Number for "ShopTo.net Limited" is 05820492 (also registered at the same address in London & also having a single nature of business code [7260]). This Company was incorporated on 17/05/2006.

ShopTo.com Limited (Registered Number 0642890) is registered at the trading address in Bracknell, but was incorporated on 16/11/2007... a date after their first deals appeared on this site.

This Company is recorded as "5211 - Retail in non-specialised stores holding an alcohol licence, with food, beverages or tobacco predominating, not elsewhere classified".

Again, not the correct classification for mail order sales in a specialised market, such as:

"5248 - Other retail specialised stores"
"5261 - Retail sale via mail order houses"

Also, the Company "Canturca Limited" used to be registered at Unit 14 Western Centre [correct spelling this time] in Bracknell (but is now registered elsewhere in London). There may well be others who used to let the same unit in The Western Centre, of course.

So you may think that is dodgy if you did some 'digging'.

I don't really have a point other than it isn't always the case that how a Company appears is how it operates.
