Blummin annoyed with paypal!

Not sure what the hell they are playing at.
Last week I had £58.34 in my account, so I transferred the £58 to my bank account.
I logged into my account a few minutes ago and saw my paypal account is now £42 in the red and I'm unable to use it. This is beacuase they appear to have transferred £58 back to themselves from my account for no apparent reason. They are now asking me to put £42 back into the paypal account to make things straight.

Have they helped themselves to ebay fees? They did that to me the other day, just took £38 from me without warning

Dont give them the money!!

If you have credit cards linked to your paypal account, phone the card companies and say you have lost your cards.

That way the old cards get canceled and paypal will be unable to charge you the money they want.......

Paypal tried something similar with me. Alls they did was lock my account which I didn't really care about anyway

Just clicked on the deails of the transaction and found this.

"Balance correction for duplicate ACH credit transmitted to bank account on 5/23/08."

So either they have stuck the £58 in my account twice (which hasn't been recieved yet!) or they are pulling a fast one!!!

No hes not.

Plenty of people have no problems at all. Like me.

There are many problems with paypal, but its nowhere near as bad as you and others make it out to be.

Just because you've had a bad experience.

i had this myself at xmas.. i'd racked up sales of over £100 and wanted to spolash out at xmas but i transferred them into my account and ended up owing them money AND my money never came thru to my bank!! All i do now is respend it on ebay.. its totally annoying. I once sent my mum paypal for about £400 and after fees it only ended up at about £320 FUMIN!!

I've had no problems either.

People either don't know how to use it properly, or don't read the charges (aaron) and complain when they are charged. It would have cost you NOTHING to transfer that to a bank account. Because you didnt read, it cost you money (and it didn't end up at £320 - fees are 3.4% - 20p).

I think you are over generalising there. Countless people have had problems with paypal through no fault of their own. You have just been lucky.

Useless bint on the phone just tried to fob me off. So I rang back again and got the same woman!!! Not happy

Basically she said that they have paid £58 into my account twice. She also stated that the money won't appear in my account for 5-7 working days at which point I will see they have put £58 into my account (Not the £116 as she claims they have doubled up) so I'll just wait and see what happens.

Thought I would add my two cents about paypal, was promised £10 to be added to my account following a call to them which they advertised as free but wasn't. Several months later and the money is still not there so I phoned them and they said I can't see it here so it didn't happen! It's now not about the tenner but about the fact they've just called me a liar! Argued for about 20 minutes and spoke to a few managers who have eventually decided that it probably did happen and they'll credit my account. Just really annoyed that they continually argue and when repeating back to you get all the facts wrong so you have to say it all again. They should have said straight away that they'll track down the person I spoke to or the recording of the call and get back to me, instead they chose to call me a liar!

Idiots!!!
