I haven't read a good sob book for years, but Danielle Steel used to get my heart aching at least once in every book. Are they still the same?

Dont do books, but 'my life' (michael keaton and nicole kidman) the film will have even the most hardened in tears. Tried it on the wife, she's a cold hearted bint at the best of times, had her blubbing like a schoolboy after a trip to the school bully, half way through.

Yeah someone suggested this to me a while back - Its quite sad but in a horrible way, things to do with rape, murder etc. Not really on par with a good girlie romance cry!!

Thanks - My boyfriend only reads James Patterson books but not really into thrillers so it will be interesting to see how he writes away from his normal genre - have ordered it!
