hi, have been doing a bit of research on booster seats for my youngest daughter and i am going round in circles, the market is flooded with them.

what i would like is it has to be black and like the ones with the back to them with head adjusment. not worried about price as long as its good or recomemended.

seems a bit of a crazy question as i have four children, but my beloved car which has two built in car seats and booster has to go, as o/h is saying shes getting a bit old and time for a change, so hence why i dont know anything about booster seats.

thanks for any help inadvance. x

Best to know what type of car you are getting, as most seats do not fit all cars. Even the high back boosters are best fitted to the car.

Halfords is the best place to go for information, and they have someone who will come out to your car and try it for size, and show you how to fit it correctly.

When I bought for my daughter, I joined Which online to get the safety reports, and they recommended the concord seats. There is a black one on Kiddicare at the moment:

Have had ours for 2 years now and I would highly recommend it.

We have Maxi Cosi Rodi - they are highly recommended as one of the safest and they recline so you're youngster can have a snooze if they need to. I really like it.
Google it for various prices.
Also, if you do want to check them all out I strongly suggest John Lewis - impartial and no hard sell, just good advice.

I would say go to either Mothercare or Halfords for advise but say you will have a think about it and then go and look at somewhere like kiddicare to get a good price as the others can be very expensive unless they have a really good offer.

Very good advice, price is all well and good, but the safety of children is more important than saving a few pounds. :)

Well i have a 5mth old baby and when she was about 8 weeks old the buckle broke on her carry seat. I had 2 choices to buy another carry seat or get the next stage up that is rear facing.
I decided to go for the britax first class and went to a place to have it fitted to check. However i had no other seat and so i had to goto a place and buy it there and then. In the end the price was quite good as it was last years design but i was so annoyed that i couldn't look on the internet to get it cheaper.
Thats the trouble when your addicted to finding deals

Sofia - you have to be very careful some seats are alot better than others. Deanos, Jennybubbles (and someone else) have posted the Which reviews here in the past. I'll see if I can find it. what age is your daughter?
