Hello all,

Just got a bee in my bonnet that Boots have put meal deal prices up to £3.49 in London.

I was wondering what everyone else pays in their area?

It doesnt seem long since a meal deal was only £2.39 etc

you only have to pay something like extra 30p for the second bottle :)

Sure its £2.99 here and surrounding towns.
Don't make sense cos some Boots store they sell real fancy sandwiches and they like £2.50, then you can get a drink like say Red Bull, and crisps or choc in the meal deal and the items are worth over £4 individually.
Thats London prices for you, mind you feel we getting ripped off with something whereever you live... don't get me started :)

i understand they might have to pay more rent etc, but then they put a boots on every street corner in london city so it can't be that bad, and the delivery man doesnt have to travel far etc between each one there's honestly 5 stores in a 10 minute walk from where i work it's crazy

And I bet theres the demand for those 5 stores - they wouldn't be there otherwise.

Sorry to say - but if people are silly enough to pay whatever - then its there own fault. People come into my store and moan about our 49p chewing gum or 62p Wispa or £1.29 for a standard bottle of coke.

Fod Pete's Sake - we don't make ya buy it!!!
