I sent off an email to Borders complaining after another one off my orders was cancelled and thought I'd share it with you

Borders are aware that a pricing error was made on certain items and hastily made every effort to rectify this mistake. Please be aware this was an un-intentional pricing error and we did not intend to mislead customers. Due to the fact that we source many of our goods from third party suppliers we are unable to fulfill your order at the price shown when you placed your order. As no contract was concluded by us we had no option but to cancel your order. Please accept our sincere apologies for any disappointment caused by your experience. As a way of apology we are sending you a £5 gift voucher which can be redeemed at any Borders store or on-line. All payments made by Borders UK Ltd are discretionary, without prejudice and make no admission of liability. Payments are ex-gratia.
