Just wondering,I'm bored lol

I ripped the wing mirror off my first car the day I passed my test, with my "friends" help who was meant to be guiding me out of a rather tight parking space lol

Good job it was her car I hit in the process,we were both mirrorless lol

About a year and a half before someone smashed into me, I saw someone taking their test drive out the test area and right into another car though.

had it from 1986 and had one bump in 2002..my fault wasnt concentrating reversing out of the drive and touched a car parked opposite(dunno where he came from-lol)
anyway was lucky cos the car was a mobility one and the guy came and told me i was ok he didnt get asked my name-i think he felt sorry for me i was pregnan at the time!!!
im sure i would have had accidents early on but me car was a lada and i put me feet through the floor like the flintstones so it never picked up speed!!!
#10
or maybe because men dont like to admit their mistakes ;)

tut tut, points adding up or a bit of a drink and a drive?
#16
11 years and counting......
#17
It depends how often people drive after they got the license.

I got in my first accident 4-5 years after i got license in another country when I drove everyday of the week. Couldn't stop in the snow and rear-ended the guy in front while he stopped to make a turn. I was a typical teen, young and dangerous...served me right for driving so fast in the snow.

He was amazingly ok about it, think the police helped they were really good and took my side, not to mention the fact that the tow truck driver couldnt get over how I walked away from the accident, he just kept looking at the car going " most people would be dead after that!"
My dad kept saying its only metal on wheels!
Took me weeks to drive again though! And a very brave uncle who let me drive his car!!:)
#19
Youre brave dont think I would of got back behind the wheel,I know its best to asap but i think in your situation i would of been as wrecked as the car itself!

We were nearly totalled during the driving test - a car came round a corner on my side of the road (I went up the kerb avoiding him but still passed).

A week and three days after passing I cleverly managed to leave a night club car park with my lights off - picked up a police tail and then prceeded to do 60mph on a dual carriage-way - not realising it was a 30 limit! Those are the only points I've ever had on my license.

(Notice: how I cleverly ignore the question and don't mention accidents!)

I was in car with my mate who had passed his test the day before. He pulled up at a ticketed barrier, he couldn't reach out of the window so opened the door, got out, one foot in one foot out. As he grabbed the ticket his car started moving forward as he'd left it in gear! He snapped the barrier and stopped the car about an inch from the bumper of a parked car! It was his sisters car so he was panicing a bit as the parking attendant said he'd get a bill for it etc and was lucky he hadn't hit the parked car cos it was his!! He never heard about a replacement barrier so was lucky there!

In hindsight I could have put the hand brake on!

£500 for a lamp post?! hubbys friend hit the black and white arrow sign on a roundabout and crumpled it in half,he left the area rapidly but someone had reported him and he got a bill for £1000 and a fine for leaving the scene of an accident.
