Ok, I just thought i'd get a few opinions here because my friends think this is outrageous.
I drive a company van for work. Aparrently I've damaged one of the wheel trims, I'm not too sure about the extent of the damage but I'm sure its nothing more than what would happen if it rubbed up against the curb..
Now, my boss wants to charge me for a brand new genuine wheel trim from a vauxhall dealer and take it out of my wages.
I'm only on 13k a year which isn't a lot by any means for the industry I am in.
My friends have said that the business should absorb these costs as it is company property.
Also, my bosses dad tends to use my van for various errands and long trips at weekends so who's to say it was definitley me who caused the damaged?
Anyway, I'm pretty peeved about this, don't really think it's right that I should have to comp these costs for the sake of aesthetics..
