8) Take one from apples & oranges box, if it's an apple put apple label on it, if an orange then put orange on it, then put the other label on the box you got that label from then finally put the apples & oranges label on the remaining box.

No you wouldn't!

You'd go one mile south to the south pole, then one mile east (although you wouldn't travel anywhere), then one mile north to where you started (although you could end up in several other places, north would be every way).

weird, all i can think of is that its the north pole :-(

Like it! Thought about this but didn't know how to explain where it was so that you walked all the way round and ended up in the same place, the same would apply for the north pole wouldn't it but I think that going a mile south would put you too far south so it couldn't be done?

There are an infinite number of places at the south pole though - to walk twice around, or three times, 4, 5 ......
