Now that's how you deal with scumbags, perhaps the hit and run driver jury / judge from yesterday should have a gander at this article.

Thats her own stupid fault. She will have known what the risk was and the law in that country.

I dont wish anyone to die, but seriously youve gotta be absolutely off your head to do that.

Does anyone else refuse to follow Daily Mail links, simply beacuse they can't be bothered reading sensationalist, opinionated, attention seeking crap.

I like to read them as a parody of real news.

Pretty brutal punishment, but at the same time explicitly stated. Silly, silly woman, but anyone who messes about with drugs or deals is a moron.

This reminds me of the other article about the Sudanese whipping...wearing trousers = a whipping.
Carrying large amounts of class A drugs = hanging.

I feel little sympathy for her, but felt disgusted about the whipping in Sudan, due to the fact she was whipped for wearing trousers and was punished under some bullsheep law, however this woman will be hanged due to their law - However, it almost feels justified.

Losing my train of thought here... But I have to agree with some of the comments in the DM article about the UK bringing in such measures (minus the poor SPG):
When we landed in singapore, malaya, there were signs in dozens of languages as well as graphic cartoons, which said "put any drugs you have in these boxes signposted and no further action will be taken", ANY drugs still on you after customs will result in the Death penalty. Very clear and simple. IF we had the same policy, several thousand drug mules would not be in prison AND we would not have to keep them for the rest of their lives because 'uman rites' prevents their being deported after serving their sentences. Oh for a government with more guts than a louse.

Just a quick note without a great deal of thought.
