British Summer Time - Sunday 25th Mar

Heads up folks!!

The clocks go forward an hour this Sunday, the 25th March @ 2am!! This means you get one hour less in bed...

Or technically, for those of you who work on Monday morning, you could swan into the office @ 10am, and plead ignorance and say "I thought it was 9am "....

(If I've figured that out right!)

Means now when baby wakes up at 6am it will really be 7am! As long as baby's internal clock does not change?

Lol, too right. Don't think there are many men who look good in shorts

I leave all my clocks as they are, too much mucking about, it's not rocket scince to deduct an hour when looking at one.
Also, I never change my watch on holiday abroad. Those people that fanny around altering their watches as soon as the plane touches down, pathetic.
#18
thanks for the reminder, but I bet I still forget.

NooOooooo I don't think so??? Baby wakes every morning 6 - 6.30 am.
If her body clock stays at old time she will still wake old time at 6am ... so new time that will be 7am? :? I all confused now :?
#21
No it will be 5am, I too have a 6am waker!
#22
Clocks are going forward an hour, so at 6am you would be putting the clock forward to say that it is 7am - meaning that the baby WILL wake at 7am :)
#23
I thought they were going forward. doh
#24
They are going forward!!! Spring forward, fall back!
#25

I was just thinking that.

Yikes curiouser and curiouser! My brain is a muddle yet I am sure somewhere there is logic!

Baby wakes at 6am via internal biological clock. Internal biological clock ... I am hoping won't change. If baby gets up at the same time as always (1 hours early) ... and because the clocks change we have to get 1 hour earlier ... the outcome should be we now all wake up at the same time?
#29
If baby wakes up at internal time, it will be 7 oclock on Sunday morning. But that evening, you will be putting baby to bed one hour earlier according to their internal clock, so there might be a bit of trouble then??

:giggle: Sorry, I knew what I meant but typed the wrong thing :giggle: Changed it now

I realised before I even came back into the thread that I had posted it wrong

Sorry about that!

There better not be ;-)! Seems to wake up at 6am whenever we put her to bed!
No worries Kelly OF! Just made me think about it a lil harder. You almost had me convinced ;-)
#32
I leave all my clocks as they are and don't add the extra hour on...Well it saves me changing the clock back come october...:giggle: :-D
