Hey guys,

Just want your opinions on something,

I've got Orange broadband 20meg (the ultra one) at home, the problem is, my bedroom where my ps3 is situated, is quite far away from the living room where my phone line and router is, just wondering what options I have really to try and boost the signal? At the moment it can be really rubbish.

Would buying another router for my room and connect one to the other help?

I'm not totally clueless on these things just that I haven't had to do anything like this for a while.

Cheers in advance and rep for help!

so i could basically buy this

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Max-Value-Powerline-Ethernet-Adapter/dp/B000TV25K8/ref=pd_bxgy_ce_text_b

and just place it in my room?

or do I need two, one to connect to the router downstairs and the other upstairs in my room?

never come across homeplugs before lol

They are the way to go mate.

You need two, as you say connected to router and one to PS3

There has been a hot deal recently at £40 i think.

Best thing you can do in your situation

right ive just read over that other thread again

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Max-Value-Mbps-Home-Double/dp/B000TV7FJ4/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1269382643&sr=8-1

I could buy the above,

one gets plugged into the router downstairs via an ethernet cable, then the other goes in my room and connects to my ps3 via another ethernet cable??

think im right now. lol

Look for the twin packs to save you buying two single units seperately, twin packs will be cheaper.
