i am also wondering between bt or sky mate, some offers on for bt atm and aol usually offer you 3 months free when you try and leave

Unlimited option with BT has a 300gb usage limit, if you hit that you then get capped at 1meg for a month.

I've only been capped once and that was when the limit was 100gb.

Internet is slower at peak time but not too slow. I'll get about 70% of my normal speed and it works which is a plus point!

I have had BT Option 3, it was good, used to run the PS3 off it for gaming too. I'm not much of a downloader, use to use their home hub,I would subscribe again,I cancelled last year. If I was to choose a home broadband provider again,I would consider BT,aswell as Sky,specially if I was starting up Sky tv again.

Never had a problem with bt , their homehub is very good for wireless , speeds are pretty good at peak times where I get about 80% of norm

Just so you know unless its changed in the last month your usage limit on bt 3 option unlimited depends on your local exchange my current limit is 100gb per month perhaps you want to find out your local exchange is and their limit. Also dont forget its download and upload they count towards your limit.

If you are on ADSL (up to 8MBPS) its 100GB
If you are on ADSL2+ (up to 20MBPS) its 300GB

You can escape your o2 contract free, because of the price increases
