BT Home Hub Phone 2.0 connecting help!

Hi, I have just purchased a version 2.1 hub with phone, and was wondering if it has any affect on my hub phone usage, as I was using the old white phone before? will it affect my bills or my free evening and weekend calls or can I just plug it in and start using it the same way?

Also I can't remember if the old hub phone used to ring too when my normal home phone used to ring, this one seems to ring too, but unsure, if anyone can help please let me know, thanks :)

Hi, in hub manager on your pc then select settings , then goto Manage which handsets ring for calls to your BT Broadband Talk and landline numbers then you will have the choice of which phoneone rings when a call comes in....
As you still have the same hub phone number I would imagine your contract will be the same as before, mines didn't change...
