sky is better than bt vision in my opinion tho they both cost alot remember quidco
#2
I have both and Sky would be my choice.
#3
I hope thats not Lulu's Mammy in the avatar:w00t:

I have BT vision.. it was much cheaper than Sky and I do like all the watch on demand programmes which I tend to watch without constantly surfing to see whats on elsewhere.. as I did when I had Sky. However... as I have got a big plasma tv I wish I had sky hd... so it is a difficult choice.. depends on what you like watching.

Am so stressed with all this, am mega miffed off!! Moving home and sky wanted me to pay 105 quid to install a new line. BT will install one for free, and then she said their broadband was cheaper so line, calls and broadband from BT and according to you lot keep the sky plus :)

Right its 2 different ways of watching tv, thats what you have to remember.

BT Vision is great value

Bronze pack
Free ESPN
TV pack, Replay pack
Then 2 of sports, kids, picturebox and music.

£14.68

BT Vision is best value i feel.
Its all on demand

Sky is for the channel flickers/HD viewing/live sports

Is there anybody you know has bt vision so that you can see what it offers? Or do you know what its like? Or have you only now got 20 minutes to decide?
#10

Na, sky have a lot more rights, if money is no problem then the full sky package with hd is best

If you want something that is value for money and you can watch on demand then BT Vision is for you

e.g

Only fools and horses all 7 series all on demand watch whenever you want

Thats the mentality of BT vision

If you want the latest series of lost or the simposns sky is for you

What do you normally watch?
#13
BT vision is freeview plus loads of watch on demand programmes.

You have not got all the sky channels.. I do miss all the discovery/history/crime channels.

But I do tend to watch whole programmes now.. and not just jump from one to another.

BT is still developing.. there is talk of it having sky sports next year..?
You have not got the same choice on BT.. but it is better value for money. IMHO

Cbeebies is on freeview, you have 80 hours of recordable space too, kids on demand has over a 1000 hours of kids programmes

Soaps are on freeview you can record also, its also in the replay section so if youve missed it you can catch up on replay up to 8 days later.

Lost only series 1-4 is on there at the moment 5 will be coming but after sky have done with it

Go for vision

Future TV is in the pipeline as well, visions next step. its awesome :-D

Sky for me too :)

Try and get sky to give you the installation for free, just keep saying you are going to leave and you have had a better offer from BT and tell them what was offered. They may do it for free if you say this, but they may not ( I think they pick and choose some days! )

Good luck hun, I can only imagine how stressful it is, phone lines and being on hold in a major pain in the backside! xx
