easiest software to use is nero. but normally costs money
Ah, i tried nero twice tonight but i dont think the version i have is compatable with vista, i keep getting "burning failed" and i cant see any reason in the error log
ok, nero 7 or higher should be compatible with vista,

thats a link for a nero 7 trial.

Hope this helps
Found a trial of cucusoft at the moment.
If this doesnt work i'll be more peeved off and download nero 7.

i use "win avi " to dvd to convert most of mine, then clone dvd, but i am still on xp so not to sure if it will work on xp, but worth a peep!
Do I have to download that?
Do I have to download that?

tom are you asking that to me, if so yes, i am just thinking where best place to download from, for free.
best software for converting AVI to DVD format is CONVERTXTODVD. Nerovision express does a good job but takes twice as long. alternatively, save an hour per AVI file conversion and just burn as data files to a CD/DVD and get a dvd player that can play DIVX.
http://www.imgburn.com/ also works with DVD shrink
If you keep getting errors, try burning the discs at a slower speed, less chance of errors then.
