I want to rip files to hard drive to take my favourite scenes from movies and play them back on a regular dvd player. I would just make a DVD but some files I already have are MPEGS some are VOB so…

I would just make a DVD but some files I already have are MPEGS some are VOB so may need to author them

So how is it possible?

Do I just author a disc with DVD files.

Download a program called "convertXtoDVD" it should sort you right out, I swear by it mate.
Managed to get 8 episodes of Heroes on to a single DVD that will run in any DVD player you throw it at, even a 360 and PS3!!!
