Has anyone else booked with the Sun holidays and found that they have to pay loads on top???
I never got my confirmation letter so had to call Butlins today and was given a total of nearly £200 to pay??? over my £60.00 I had paid to the Sun.
I quieried this and was told it was for bed, breakfast and evening meal, then another 37.00 for entertainment passes (told it was for everything but then found out I have to pay for a load of extras if my teen wants to use some facilities)
Then I had to pay a £20 service charge?? What is this???
Add on the linen (even thought the web site states it's included if you upgrade to silver)

I can see the family in sleeping bags and eating a la tesco at this rate lol.

You dont need to pay for the food that is optional so is the linen , you do need to pay the service charge & for entertainment passes (thats usually optional but as Butlins is enclosed i think you have to pay it) , its stated on the booking form how much extra it costs

Nothing to do with your question but try The Hairy Dog pub in Minehead, its a good place to eat and has a play area for the kids:)

I just had a letter today saying they made a mistake with the amount of sun hol discount. They put £60 from the sun, when it should only have been £38, i have to pay another £22 now. not too bad I know.
