What was the item?
Where is he/she wanting shipping?
Are they wanting to pay with paypal and collect?
A little more info ?

yes/no
how do you expect anyone to possibly know the answer with the info you have given?

Sorry, the buyer requested payment info i may have forgot to put paypal. They asked if there was anything wrong with it or whether it was in "good condition" as i apparently described. I didnt describe it like this, i stated all the faults in the listing. They wanted delivery asap.

How much is expensive?

How long have they been registered, have they bid on lots of other stuff?
#5

If you listed faults and they are asking if it's in good nick, I'd say it sounded dodgy and try to get out of it... but I'd have blocked nil feedback bidders.

I guess you've got to send it then, keep copies of all the messages sent between you and send requiring a signature. Finger's crossed!

I would wait until the paypal cash has gone into your bank account otherwise he might cancel the funds as soon as you've sent it. If hes got a problem waiting for that just say it's because he has 0 feedback

I'd agree, but it's not like ryman has cracking feedback either, if I was the buyer, I'd pull out if he suggested that...

I wouldn't bother OP,your funds will also be on a 21 day hold, but it could be a scammer anyway.

Oh dear, its a phone!

Take photos of everything. Note down serial numbers of everything. Send special delivery with insurance for full amount. Then cross fingers!

for the amount it sold for you must send it either via a courier which is trackable or special delivery which is again trackable. dont send it 2nd class like your p&p as if they play sneaky and claim not received you will only get £40ish back from royal mail & ebay/paypal will side with buyer. I would advise buyer to re-read the item description and then once payment received send by trackable method as abve. you cant really slate he poor buyer for having 0 feedback when you only have 2 yourself lol. being new does mean bad, everyone has to start at 0 at some point.

where are you getting that when i looked at the bidder it shows they have only bid & won 1 item in the last 30 days and that was this item.

The OP gave me his username, the buyer has bid on buy it now items all from sellers with only a few feedback,he definitely needs reporting,he's hoping these newbies will fall for it,through lack of experience.

The page you get when you click on his ****'ed out username is especially misleading then.

Curious - how did you find that out, always thought info like that was private.

As i said above,i asked the OP for the username, glad i did now, looks well dodgy.

could be being naive but it could be christmas presents. if i took serial numbers, pictures, send via courier with tracking number would they have any way to scam me ?

OP,nobody legit joins ebay and spends 500 quid in one night,it's upto you but it's jumping out as a scam to me,it's probably a stolen credit card on Paypal etc.

It's not worth the risk.

Could do, my mum has no eBay account, if I asked her for an iPad from ebay for Christmas, she'd tell me to pee off, but hypothetically she could open an account and buy it, no scam

Yeah, but it's highly unlikely that a new buyer would buy items from 4 sellers in one night.
