Buying a scrapbook, what's a good one? LOL!

Evening all.

My 7yo daughter has been wanting a scrapbook for a while so have been looking to get her one - but there are so many to choose from and I don't know what makes a good one LOL!

On WHSmith wesbite they sell 12x12 scrapbooks which you can buy refills for, how do they secure into the scrapbook?

Can anyone please advise what makes a good scrapbook?!?!?!

Thank you

are you based in London by any chance? There's a great scrapbook seller at Covent Garden...actually, if anyone can pick me one up let me know!

Was there at the Transport Museum last week, haven't been there for years before that, at least in the daytime :-(

Hi, I'm a scrapbooker and it costs a fortune!!! Maybe its a better idea to start your daughter off using a normal a4 ring binder that she can decorate and then use the clear pockets inside for the papers. There's quite a few places where you can print off a4 patterned paper for free! If she decides that she really enjoys it maybe then buy her the more expensive products. If you want any more advice or links to shops just let me know!!

I could do, but I am looking for presents for her for Eid and have been rather stuck - everything seems to be Hannah Montana and HSM etc so I would love to get her started on something worthwhile like scrapbooking as she has a memory drawer at the moment and she is very creative.
I don't mind spending some to get her started, I just haven't a clue about them - if I buy extra pages how do they fit in the book?

Thank you :)

QVC usually do this type of thing.

I like the scrap books with the rings down the side... It makes it much easier to turn the pages, and also when you fill it up, there is room for expansion - than the more eidged bindings.

I also LOVE the black pages I think it's really striking and grown up, but of course kids might like them more colourful.

Unfortunately my last lot came from Woolworths - not a place you can pop in to now

They do cost a fortune
