Can you get preloaded sim cards with internet on? Because I want pay as you go but I want to be able to use the internet wherever I go, primarily for email.

Also what are the apps like in comparison to an iphone or htc?

Thanks a lot!
rep given.

You will need the PIN reset to use BBM services.

Is this easy? What does it require?
Thanks:thumbsup:

I'll be reading this with interest OP as I've been thinking about getting a blackberry as well though just through 02. Can upgrade now so it'd be new for me but can't decide whether to get one or not as read mixed reviews.

It will require the existing user to do this.

For the BB to access push email you have to use the pin set for the device, this has to be released by the last owner.
There's no other way to make it work, so if you buy a used one make sure they A: release the pin and B: let you know what it is.

okay thanks. Any ideas about getting a sim card with wifi on? I believe t mobile did a 6 month one if you buy the phone new but can you get them off eBay or something?

Also wifi has nothing to do with a sim card.

you can get sims with it preloaded. Im talking the internet access anywhere not the wifi built in. Sorry if I misdescribed this.

There's only one on the bay at the mo.

But there, there as a rule.

Change the *** to cgi (DOT)ebay

Looking again, I'm not sure that'll work in a BB as it's an iPhone sim. I don't know if they'll add the BB addon to for you ?

does that IPHONE one work on a blackberry?

No you can't and that isn't wifi. You can get sims that include acces to some wifi points, but that's only in certain places where wifi is available. And it still doesn't use the sim.

okay then, how come with some t-mobile blackberry phones they state free 6 month blackberry internet? Is this allocated to the phone then?

My error, sorry, searched too fast :(

No, that isn't wifi, that is internet using the mobile network and is nothing to do with wifi at all.

well instead of telling me that im wrong, care explaining?:?

Anyway, for a blackberry most networks you need a blackberry bolt on aswell/instead in order to use bbm and stuff.

Sorry to hijack, but I have a quick, related sort of question.

I have a 02 simplicity Sim £20 pm with Free Internet access bolt on, if I got a Black Berry could I use my Simplicity Sim to access the Internet and the Blackberry Internet service?
