Ok thanks for the answer, i dont know very much about importing thing though so would you be able to give me an overall figure of what i would end up paying if its $250 please?
They sell for around £190 on ebay but im looking to spend about £160 - £170.
Thanks.

250/1.7 = £147 (gbp)
147*1.175 = £172 (vat)
172 + £8 = £180 (handling)
£180 + duty > £180

I would have thought your 1st problem is that Amazon.com will not deliver to the UK.

yes I have bough a few things from amazon.com - smaller things like cd's etc but never paid anything _ I think you are allowed up to £180 or something like that before paying duty

Really? I tried the other day and got a page basically telling me they weren't going to deliver because I didn't live in the US or Canada.

I have also bought from Amazon.com as well before a book that fetches silly amounts in UK but only £10 in the US

I Just Bought An 80gb Zune Someone Brought It Back For From Us Cost $266

The New 120gb 1 Day Launched After I Got It For The Same Money Happy Days

For Some Reason Now The 80gb Is Now Selling For $549 On Amazon Not Got A Clue Why

Buying From Ebay Could Still Land You With Tax But Probably The Best Way

If You Try To Buy From Amazon If Does Not Let You Anyway There Seems To Be A Block On Buying Zunes Overseas
