everybody guves warranty on purchases, adn refunds within 28 days on goods, im referring to the warranty date starting the 25th dec rather than date purchased, i think i am getting mixed up on their returns policy for xmas gifts rather than the actual warranty

I got a DS lite in gamestation, and said that it was for christmas, so they wrote on the reciept that gurantee will start then and signed it, this was the manager,

oh thanks natty, may drop amazon an email and ask, looking to buy the wii off there, but dont wants 2 months warranty wasted whilst sat in the cupboard, but then dont want to risk leaving it to late to order

Was in pc world the other day and someone else got the warranty to start from Dec 25th. Guess you just will have to ask the question wherever you want to buy from.

Is that not a way to abuse warranties (just say it is a Christmas present and get and extra two months of warranty) ?

got a response back, they basically do the returns thing, anythong brought between 1st November and 31st december needs to be reurned by the 31st January 2008 but apart from that the warranty starts from day of despatch
