No idea what price to lay down but I think it is always good to try and buy before the new plates come as they will want to shift old stock for preparation of new, so should be up for haggling especailly if they have targets they aint reached yet.

Get a free 12month tax disc, full tank and some extras like alloys, mats and anything else you can thing of also

go on www.whatcar.com
tells you the price you should aim for, and guarantees they
will find a dealer to sell it to you at that price if you cannot find it......

It is the same stock, just a newer plate.

All new cars come with 12 months road tax anyway.

Best option is to do some research on the web like car brokers etc.

I bought a Fiesta nearly 3 year ago, got £1500 of it, asked for 12 months and all they would give me was 6 month, maybe it wasnt the OTR price??

lots cars have been produced and in storage 6ths to a year ago, some models for 18mths or more the pictures of this stock have been on tv many times,
the best price would be have your car registered 1 day before new plate, my wife just arranged hers and she is getting £2250 of nexts days price, (picking up last day of month)have a personal plate and only you know the age.
