Depends if they are a limited edition completely, or likely to be re-printed again in another limited edition run. Your best bet is to either invest elsewhere or go to some of the art school exhibitions and buy some things you like, hoping that the artist will one day become famous

to be honest with you they're not gona be valuable. Prints, even limited editions, run into the thousands.

My dad collects art, the best piece of advice he gives is to get to know local artists etc and purchase their art, you will build up a good network of contacts amongst artists and in time may pick up a few pieces worth a bit.

Thats more or less what my dad did, his art collection is insured for mega bucks!

are you on Facebook Solarface? Although I hate it, it's good for 'liking' the local art school. Once you like it you will get all the announcements about shows, etc. All the Ex-students will be posting there with details of their work and other exhibitions, etc.

I have bought most of my artwork through the local Hospitals art trust. They get loads of donations and sell off some of the works. A good way to pick up stuff cheap. I've had a few originals for £100-£200 which are now worth £500 or so each. I would rather by something with texture and brush strokes than a print.
