Offering me Sports and Movies for £12 extra a month for next 3 months, told them no again (they called me about 3 months ago with same offer). She asked me my address I gave, then asked for my password I told her I wasn't going to disclose it and then she said okay and told me the amount I pay now anyway?

:? scandalous, though I only pay £24 a month for 8meg (6.6meg) broadband, 4 mixes, and phone.

We only pay for 4 mixes, can't get decent sky internet here and BT had a better £5/month phone deal

it might be people pretending to be sky

True. Companies have appeared on Watchdog for claiming to be sky and trying to sell insurance (without really going into any detail or disclosing the fact they are nothing to do with sky.)

I got the offer, not from a phone call but by a proper flyer from Sky, with a ref number. Phoned them up, used it for last 10 weks, and just about to call back to cancel it.
Thats the important thing, remeber to cancel it or your bill goes up!

Our bill for VM shot up as soon as we passed the 12 months.

It's amazing what they try and charge for everything with their standard prices

if they have broken the contract, you're entitled to exit it.
It might be a standard flyer that goes out to all on the same package.

If you haven't re-signed up for 12 months phone them up and ask to go to retentions, tell them you want to leave as Sky have offered you an amazing package (make something up but it has to be believable) 99 times out of 100 they will offer you a better deal, always say no to the first deal they offer you as they will offer you a better one

does your VM package not give free calls to VM customer service even if it is on an 0870 number?
