Should be posted when confirmed, too many of these deals never materialize
#2
good deal, they did it with the last call of duty and filled their shops with punters so hope they do it again!
#3
They did do the same for MW2. So is most likely.
#4
hope so. we will just have to wait and see.

altho you may like to consider that 2 days ago,a morrisons employee posted a deal stating fifa 11 would be 27.99-other morrisons employees confirmed this wasnt true and thread was removed. Two weeks ago,a morrisons manager stated halo reach would be 25 quid on release day-never happened.

wouldnt you be surprised that sainsburys have already stated their price for a game released november 9th so that asda/tesco already know what they are doing. And this info comes from a rep says the op-who has nothing to do with sainsburys, and I doubt is privy to pricing policy.

these things belong in misc-they shouldnt be posted as deals and stated as fact-9 times out of ten they turn out to be nonsense.
#8
Ok we will have to wait and see
[mod]#9
I have moved this to misc until its confirmed that the deal will go live.
#10
many thanks for the info hope its true
#11
I had my doubts this year but if it's true..
#12
Isn't. not yet anyway. i work there.
#13
I work at Sainsbury's and haven't heard any pricing details for this. FIFA is out next week and no-one knows the price for that yet.

which is exactly my point-anyone who has worked in a supermarket, knows fine well that there is no way a price will have been declared for black ops FIVE WEEKS before release-no pricing decision is taken on "price war games" until the tue/wed/thu before friday release. Fifa is currently showing on asdas system at 32.97-this,however is utterly meaningless-the only price that counts is the one that comes on the system at midnight thursday. Staff will likely see memos on wednesday with the INTENDED price, but depending on tesco and others deals even that can change.
[mod]#15
I also heard from a Sainsbury's Rep that FIFA 11 will be £3.99 on all formats when bought with 6000 PG Tips Pyramid Tea Bags. :D

pah! tesco are PAYING you to take it-they welcome you into the store, give you a full English breakfast, ten quid in cash for each copy you take from them(no limit),and you get 3 million clubcard points per copy. They then take you home in a limousine, and if you dont have an xbox or ps3 to play it on,they provide one.

asda will probably do a better deal tho

Basically you get four options if I remember right with a Gold Card, there is eggs, beans, sausages, french toast etc - You just choose what you want. :)

It's free, but I wouldn't pay for it. :D

You really should say 2 or 3 days before release, as COD comes out on Tuesdays.

the rep's know nothing that the store doesnt know. the price will most likely come down the weekend before launch and is sent by email. the newsletter which the rep's get is identical to what the store gets on the wednesday and the price will be down as 'tbc' as like last year.

best get in there first wiht the deal eh.
#25
That'll never happen . . .

Anyhow i'm getting mine on the 5th hopefully from a shop that sells new releases early in Glasgow. Fingers crossed :)
#26
After all that tripe about the XBox 360 Slim for £139.99 at Sainsburys a few months back, I wouldn't expect anyone to take a deal from 'a rep/source/employee' seriously anymore until it's actually confirmed.

The question is... Why bother? its the same game, just with RC buggies added as a lame killstreak.

Its almost exactly the same game, with a few tweaks.
I dont get how people can still be so enthrawled and excited. i bought MW2 on release, loved it for a month or 2... Then realised oh wait theres actually not a lot of skill or team play involved in this game.. Boring.

the art of milking, but black ops does look a better improvement in the multiplayer side.

Thanks. For. That.

If this game was £55 I'd still have no hesitation. MW2 has been well worth it's money.
