The bottle-type thing that you're referring to is probably the condensor.

The last time I had a problem like this it was because although the hole was clear, the back surface of the fridge had become scuffed, so water wasn't draining down to the channel & instead was freezing on the back, casuing more water to get stopped & freeze etc.

I'd suggest turning your fridge thermostat down. What setting is it on? What type of fridge is it? Upright/Under counter etc.

I normally leave mine on number 3 setting, when the fridge gets full, turn it up a bit, when its get empty, turn it down a bit :?

Im no expert, but thought this advice may be useful! HTH

This has happened to me a few times on my built in small fridge...on inspection at the front underneath of the fridge I found a cylinder that has a fan...looks something like a rotary lawnmower blade (the type on petrol mowers and old fashioned manual ones)..anyway with electric off I removed the fan put the electric back on to see if it was spinning...it wasn't so after a good clean (it was saturated with dust) and an attack with WD 40 it started spinning...reassembled and all is fine..no ice build up ont back of inside of fridge..may work for you.
