Seems a waste of a lot of good money for a massive loss on the pc, though it would be ace to play on.

I think there is a 100% profit margin on it. It is fair to assume that the whole thing would be around £2,500 mark

Can build that for under £2500 (CPU is £750 and graphics are £~450 each).

Are you in business in this or just as a hobby?

Lots of ram on there, 6x4GB sticks at 2GHz will cost a lot, then a £200+ motherboard, plus the SDD, HDD, cooler and Windows; will be a bit over £2500 I reckon

No Blu-Ray writer? No N wireless network card? No deal :)

Just a Hobby [although worked as an ICT tech in a school of ~350 PCs, ~150 laptops, for a bit)(Getting Sandybridge though in a few months when some nice mobos are out). The thing is that 980x is beaten by the new I7 2600K if you overclock it a bit and it's under £250 for that CPU.

I am looking for a i7 gaming PC for someone. Budget £600-700, what would you recommend

Thank you. Any idea how much would be the sandybridge processors. I presume it would be expensive
