The debates are over, the leaders have put their points across - now it's up to us.

Vote Brown if you want a two faced, lazy government who are going to continue to look after the scroungers of this country whilst hard working people pay for it.

Vote Clegg if you want a hung parliament leading to future of uncertainty and indecision.

Vote Cameron if you want to see this country become GREAT again - if you want to play an active part in doing so and if you believe we can be proud of our country once again. A world leader rather than a world follower.

Cameron all the way!

I am torn as due to the city I live in is a safe seat for labour, the populace would vote for a chimp if it was wearing a labour badge so I will have to vote tactically or a protest vote.
#2
omg is there no where safe.

It's probably the most important election in a lifetime - everybody should be playing an active part to voice their opinion through their vote.

I am sure there are a lot of people in your city that think like you. I predict we will see MASSIVE swings to in favour of the Conservatives (or Lib Dems) away from Labour - every vote really does count.

Every vote does count but in my ward my vote isnt worth one vote due to the stupid system its 0.15 of a vote. But vote I will.

me too - only about 30% of the population have a vote that makes any difference!

I want the tories to win but will vote LD as very safe tory seat in my area and its never a good thing to have a large majority sitting MP.

Good idea to vote tactically for the 70% of us who's vote wont affect the result.

Only 34% of votes cast were for labour last time yet they had a massive majority. That just cant be right.

No party is cutting frontline staff at the NHS (they can't! it would crumble).

They are reducing inheritance tax for EVERYONE. You work hard all your life and manage a nice house at the end of it - why should it be taxed again when you die?

Tax credits will remain for those who need it.

Yeah she was great! Took tough decisions and stuck to her guns. Can you see Gordon Brown going in and taking back the Falkland Islands?

Brown has done his best, and I think that the Biggot thing shows he is human.

It is time for change tho, but I hope the cameron lot don't make us except the euro!

I like Cleggy's ideas about education, 16 children in a class etc.

In short, labour are not going to win.

I think a lot of whipper snappers won't, nor Major who really did deserve the grey spitting image puppet. God, a handful of chimps could run the country better than him. Tony Blair made an easy kill.

Well you obviously have warmer feelings towards her time in ofice than I do, Cameron will never back proportional representation in this country, which if we want true democracy and not just the party in power that 60+ % of the country didn't vote for, we need:thumbsup:

I think this is is still the problem with voters not understanding what party policies are - Cameron is the only one who has GUARANTEED he won't be joining the Euro.
#24
Thought Cameron came across as an ass last night. All he has done throughout the debates is attack the other parties. Can't stand that. I have definitely ruled out Torrie.
#25
thatcher was put in a position that cameron will be put in if he wins. A country up to its eyeballs in it. But cameron has my vote sick of being taxed and taxed and taxed and taxed to death for layabouts to stay at home

Oh, thats good. Sorry I have not had the time to read the manifests.

But MP dictionaries are different to the normal ones, just hope GUARANTEED means the same in both. lol :p

they have not said were they will cut the costs then, inheritance tax is it not free from tax upuntil 650 thousand (sorry if i am wrong) in which case only the well of would benefit. they have not said who will keep tax credits it they want to do the job of running the country they should say what they will do not just we will reform this and that but how they will change it

but how will they define who will need it? they will be taking it off many people who are average earners not just the top earners. Tax credits help not just the low earners but make a heck of a difference to average earners as well.

They will cut management at the NHS - which is a GOOD thing!

I don't agree with your 'well off' statement - my folks worked 12 hours a day 6/7 days a week to earn what they have now. Should they be taxed for hard work? Not everyone is born with a silver spoon in their mouths. We start taxing entrepreneurialism and I'm on the first flight to New Zealand!

have they said were they will cut the nhs or are you just asuming.

but by allowing more well off people (be it earned or born wealth) they will have to take the money from elseware in this case hard working 6/7 day a week parents by taking back tax credits ps i dont have kids but think they need it more

Would probably be murdered by a few distant rellies for saying this but....

I certainly do, She was the only politician this country has ever had that had a pair of balls, I never had much sympathy for the miners, they were well past their sell by date, back then it was much cheaper to import coal from poland and brazil. The business model simply didnt work.

I do hope Cameron comes in and finishes the job Thatcher started and kills off the unions are at least make them toothless.
