camping or caravan

Hi, hubby got a week off and fancy cheap week away, with weather being nice at the moment wondered if to give camping a go, or to go in a caravan for the easier option. We can borrow camping gear of a friend. We have 3 children under 9 so need to be somewhere that we can entertain kids as well. Anybody any suggestions for cheap campsite or caravan park for few days. Needs to be not too far prefererably with a beach nearby. We live in Leeds, West Yorkshire. Thankyou

Not that far to the Lake District or The Peak District really. We went here last year http://www.peakdistrictonline.co.uk/peak-district-camping-caravanning-alsop-rivendale-ltd-ashbourne/l396.html#
Nice little park, not too expensive. Just over the road there is a nice little walk called The Tissington Trail, which is suitable for pushchairs or bikes. It is an old railway line that has been converted into a flat walkway. Also close to Matlock, a nice little town.

Thats about 15-20 minutes drive from where I live, matlock bath is great, especially on sundays/bank hols when all the bikers are there, its an amazing sight to see all the bikes parked up, row after row of glistening chrome especially on the Harleys and custom rigs! Anyone who has a preconceived idea of bikers should go just to prove them wrong, its such a laid back atmosphere
