just watch the fat content of what you eat, snack on lots of fruit and veg and high fiber foods to fill you and drink lots of water to help fill yourself up and flush out the toxins..only advice i can offer i'm afraid.

I did the atkins diet and found it very good in the short term. Lost lots of weight in only a couple of months

No chance. Best you can do is what Bella said, more veg, less fat and be very active. 6st in 2 months is a pretty dangerous target tbh.

How much you weigh/height anyway?

They could probably do it if they were near 100st. If you are, eat one less burger a week and breath regularly for the 2 months.

I've heard of 'lighter life' have you tried it, edjaned?

Yeah I suppose so :giggle:

Took me a year to lose 4st and that was doing heavy work in a warehouse on about 1500c a day:?

Put it all back on now though:roll:

When you figure that one out then let 70% of america know.

On a serious note: stop eating meat and dairy FULL STOP. only eat 1/3 the VOLUME of food you do now too. I say volume and not calorie count as veg is high vol but low cal so you will feel full but not taking in so much energy.

I did it for about 5months and lost 2st. I only weighed 13st 7lb at the start. NO GYM INVOLVED AT ALL.

so you could lose it alot faster.

That's about my weight. But I know if I work really hard and eat all the right foods, I could be twice that.

I ate Salads for every meal, cut down sugar and carb intake and worked my **** off...

I had a very physical job though which was how I lost it....I worked in a tile warehouse....those things are heavy when you have to fill approx 14 pallets a day....starting at no weight filling up to 2 tons each...... so get a very physical job and you won't have to go to gym.....failing that you will have to train hard

Wow! Thats great - you did really well! Once my youngest son starts school in September i am planning on losing the weight I've been carrying by going to the gym every day and following a low fat diet. I am hoping to have quick results like you - but am worried about loose skin!!! (You see programs where people lose weight quickly and this happens). Any comments/suggestions ODB_69?

I just cut everything out.... low carbs was the main bit....I also cut to Diet coke and cut myself down on that too.....to be honest I still had 1 can a day and a Kinder Bueno but I was working in an environment where I was burning it off....
Now I work in an office and sitting on my butt all day has made me put on weight again...Fortunately I have a large frame anyway....may be harder to lose if you have a small frame but I am 6 foot 2 broad and built like a rugby player anyway, so maybe that helped a bit.
I would say cut down carbs and sugar and drink more water, fills you up for one but also helps to flush your system...I think the regime depends on the person. I tried the Atkins diet like mentioned previously....I lost 6 pounds straight away and then nothing so I came off it....each person is different therefore what works for one wont necessarily work for another

I started going to slimming world couple of years ago lost 4 stones in about a year but lost 1 stone in first month because I got the mumps :w00t: A bit drastic though but if you know someone with mumps ;-) Just an idea :whistling:

I've lost 4stone in 12 months with Weight Watchers can work out a bit expensive but I've found that the support I've had has been invaluble.

To the person asking about the 'loose skin' thing, if you lose weight sensibly (slow and steady 1-2lbs a week) and exercise at the same time you tone as you go. Also when you're sitting hold stomach muscles in for 10 counts then rest and keep doing that and that will tone and strengthen those muscles, use bottles of water or cans of beans to lift up and down and this helps tone arms. When people have loose skin and have to have tummy tucks you usually find that they have lost quite a lot of weight very quickly. Good Luck

You can also do 'The Plank'.
Hard to explain but here goes:
Lie down on stomach, put your hands together in a 'praying' motion and lift up (as if doing a push up). Hands should be inline with your face and elbows with shoulders as if using your elbows to do a push up.
Keep back straight with tips of toes on floor so your at about 25 degree angle....and just breath normally.....
If your doing it right you should feel it after about 10 seconds

lol im tryin to diet but i came into work today and it was someones birthday and they bought like 3 cakes in :( so had to have a cheeky piece
gonna have to cut down on fats later now for dinner lol

definitely changing all your drinks to water will help
even juices like squash are high in sugars
i know for me i have a huge bread fetish lol, so for me im really tryin to cut that down to get rid of the carbs that i dont burn off.
i dont go enough, but the gym or some sort of regular exercise is advisable. You could try to eat more meals a day but in smaller quantities as this can get the metabolism fired up and in turn the body uses more energy to digest food, which in turn burns more calories.

That should be the opposite if your heart is in losing the weight. Running and diet will see the weight fly off.
