Aren't you worried that you aren't contributing to the people who made that game?

Comon mistake new people make is that you need a DL DVD Burner. If you have that is may be dying as all my games faied so i had to get a new burner, oh and DL discs obviously.

Did you remove the layerbreak and set it manually in settings?

You do not need to do that if you have .dvd file and you leave ImgBurn's default and best settings alone

DG post the log file from failed burn

I can't wait for the "I gotz rrod but a chipd meh 360 so M$ sez **** off" post

On a more serious note, there are legal reasons why he might want to know this. Also if you fancy a cause to rally behind: pre-owned games do a lot more harm to the games industry than piracy, as the studios get no extra revenue for second hand sales while they have a huge impact on new game sales. I've lost track of the number of times I've heard "I'll wait till it's available pre-owned" from people who would otherwise be buying new.

I don't care what the "law" calls it but downloading is NOT stealing. It may not be "right" but theft is completely different.

The RROD is the easiest fix for the 360, as long as you know how to open the console (and these days nobody has an excuse not to) you can buy RROD kits for around £6 and I can attest that they work a treat.

Exactly.
From me downloading they lose nothing as I simply wouldnt pay retail prices for new games, as said before about pre-owned that is the route I would take.

DG I thought I told you what to do before, did you check the ISO with ABGX first?

Your problems start because your writer does not really support the disc's you are using, hence the 0.5x write speed and 5.2x the drive should pick up lowest of 2.4x on + R DL and you should choose 2.4x and not 1x

You will either need to use the older more compatible with older drives MKM-001-00 or see if there is a newer firmware for your drive that adds a write strategy for the MKM-003-00

Edit and having just checked quickly A117 seems to be the latest firmware for your ageing drive.

So unless you can swap a write strategy round you are going to have to try some verbatim 2.4x MKM-001-00 or just buy a new dvd writer as they are really cheap at mo. Pioneer drives are good for 360 backups.

You could maybe try the one write speed the lg is close to ON just 1 more new disc and that is 4.2x It might just work but no more after that as you will only be wasting disc's.

You should also make sure you have ticked in ImgBurn the Auto booktype setting for Lg drives as you need to have dvd+r DL set to DVD-ROM for 360 backups.

Be better to just buy a new pioneer drive (ATA)
