I recently reput windows 7 32bit on to my computer, I used to have the 64bit version.

Before i used to have a driver, that would would show like a white audio bar in the middle of the screen when i changed volumce and also brightness of screen.

Upon putting the Os on the computer, I cannot find the driver and nor is there website useful to downloading drivers when the download manager doesn't work.

If anyone knows what I'm going on about, please can you help. (Y)

You're thinking of the driver that operates the touch buttons at the top yes?

Can't remember the name of it... it's on the tip of my tongue... ARGH! Can't remember the name ffs.
FOUND IT! You want the Dell Quickset drivers.

Anyway, it should be on the resource CD that came with the laptop. Failing that, go to the dell website and download the application, by typing in your computers service tag into the lookup and download the appropriate driver/application (it will be under the application tab).

Dell are pretty good with their drivers.

Thats my problem, the website is failing on me at the mo, I got to download the drivers and it just gives me a download manager and I don't know how else to download the drivers... I've tried everything, don't remember it being this hard to get a driver off dell before.

Lol silly boy, just select "download in your browser", and it will begin a download as normal :)

(The second option that the box gives you). Hmm just thinking, did you have the "Remember my selection" box ticked? If so, clear your cookies then re open the webpage and try again - It should forget your previous choice :)

Lol, I do know, but i get the same thing. Its not me being stupid, as I'm used to downloading drivers. It just won't honestly give me anything else except a stupid download manager, I've done every possible angle to this download and get the same result.
