Can anyone help please? Baby boy clothes aged 6-12mths

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to help a friend of mine - I know this may seem a little cheeky to some people and perhaps it's a long shot, but I thought I'd ask if anyone has any nice condition clothes for a boy aged 6-12 months (he's 6 mths) that they are thinking of giving away?

My friend lost her job and is currently buying all of his clothes from the charity shops - she finds some lovely things but even shopping in second hand stores money is a little tight. I can't afford to help as much as I'd like to so thought I'd post a note on here as everyone is always so helpful.

Of course it goes without saying that if posting items I'd cover costs, but if anyone has any clothes and lives near Newcastle it would be great if I could collect them. I know she's also looking for toys and things so anything would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you x

Oooh hadn't heard of freecycle - I'll take a look, thanks! :) x
join freecycle theres always loads of that sort of stuff

Indeed,i mentioned it earlier on another thread and some folk were taking the pee because i said some peeps hadn't heard of the site and here's another person.

Not everybody is aware of it,so threads like these are helpful.

There are always kids clothes being offered on it too,so its worth joining:thumbsup:
i had quite a few used ones which i usually put in to one of the charity covers that comes thro the door- i could have given it- but newcastle is too far -really sorry
try salvation army- someone told that they give donated clothes to people who need it- but not very sure.
I never put clothes into those charity bags, nearly ALL if you read the small print are clothing companies that only give a small amount of money to the charity for so many tonnes that is collected.

I prefer to take it to a local charity shop that is for local causes.
Had a few bits here

but expired the thread as no response...but will post again after the allowed amount of days.

Just added the link above so that you can see the pics of the items.
