Can anyone help RE screen protectors for the NDS?

My son got his DS for Christmas and already the screen protector I bought for the bottom screen is worn out

It is sticky and dirty and makes the screen hard to read

Is this what I should expect - like go through 1 every 3 weeks or are there different qualities about?

The one I got came from DealExtreme

http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.4086

Got 4 out of 5 so maybe its good and my don plays his DS too much?!!!

He has Nintendogs so there's a lots of strokes involved

If I am to got thru lots, anyone know wher to bulk buy them - pack of 10 maybe?

thanks
nicojo :)

tbh low prices sometimes reflect in their quality. This is a bootleg "hori" product, a company one which most would agree is one of the best of screen protectors.
Their genuine product is here - http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.5363

That is the real deal imo. Or unless you want 6 of what you bought instead. I never used them so I can't really judge on these products. My mate uses the Hori and he hasn't changed the protector yet.

Actually, reading upon some reviews from dx, I may be wrong, so don't take my advice, but note it upon consideration :D

Young lad here has never used Hori so can't comment on them.
He uses ones that come from a company in Germany and has had no problems.
The DS gets medium use, probably 1-2 hours a day average and the screen protectors last 1-2 months for the bottom screen.
They cost £3.98 for 6 sets of 2 (top & bottom). The company is called ScreenProtector24 and you can find them on the dreaded Ebay (360012847828) or Amazon.de.
Hope that helps.

Thanks for ur advice guys

Unless I have any more advise, I think I'll go for the GENUINE Hori ones

I buy the ones off Ebay from Germany. As my kids are, lets just say - not very gentle, I don't mind changing the bottom protectors more frequently. They use their DS most days and I would say I change the protector every 2 or 3 months.

I don't have 1 for ours and I just clean it when looking a bit grubby, doesn't looked scratched up at all,we've got Nintendogs and various other games that require stroking lol.My son its hard to say how much he plays it but today he had it on for maybe 5hrs,still up with it now.
Mine also an old DS so don't know if that makes any difference.
