Can anyone recomend a good place for wiper blades, please?

Hi all.

Looking for some replacement front wiper blades for my 2001 Citroen Picasso.

Only place I know to buy them is Halfords but they have one front set for £16.99 or 2 separately for £13.99 each!

So can anyone recommend me some wipers they have bought?

Thanks!

Have you tried Halfords for getting just the rubbers. These are normally a fraction of the price of the complete blades with holders.

i bought the rubbers but they wouldnt stay on the old wipers, just wouldnt fit! so ended up a waste of £ as i then had to buy the whole blades...they were from Tesco im sure and cheaper than the blades i think-maybe £3.99 the pair. You could call them to check? i think the price was wrong on the shelf though...

Have you bought wipers from them before? They are only £1.50 so expect them to be rubbish and they seem to only go up to a 22", whereas the Picasso needs 26" on the front

Ive just bought some flat blade wipers for my Octavia off ebay.
Had them on a week so far, not bad at all (although a week isnt long lol.)
You can get cheaper ones on there but i chose these as the seller had decent feedback about them.

Do not buy the rubber refills. you have to cut them to fit and if they dont fit your stuck with them, also they dont last even half the time. try and get bosch blades if you can. superior peformance and usually completely squeak free! They also dont get lifted much by the wind when driving on motorways etc.

I find that GSF are reasonably cheap for parts. When I had my BMW, I used to get my blades from there as they were good quality and a lot cheaper than Halfords.

tesco's flat blades are half price again and come with some adaptors which may suit your car

21" not available in my store...i had to make do with a 20" in its place on my golf..

works fine

good luck
